The Descendants of Edward Richards & Susannah Hunting Project An On-Line Course: Tracing Your Family History Using a Computer |

My name is Anne Ogle-Leonard and I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Many of my ancestors settled here in this great state, and since then family members have been trickling in, a few at a time. So, for the past several years I have been tracing their lineages as they link to nearly every other state in the union and continue back into the Old Country. I have been primarily using the internet, but have also availed myself of the considerable resources in the Bernalillo County Public Library Special Collections library (Albuquerque's genealogical collection), the Center for South West Research at Zimmerman Library on the University of New Mexico Campus, the Hispanic Cultural Center library, the Iowa Historical Society's wonderful collection in Des Moines, Iowa, and the fascinating records kept by the Catholic churches in several areas of the state of Chihuahua in Mexico. My other source of information, inspiration and companionship in this project is the help of many newfound cousins and longtime loved ones.
