1881 Census Data   Free. At this Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints site you can choose the 1880 United States, 1881 British Isles, or the 1881 Canadian Census. You also can search all censuses at once. Enter at least your deceased ancestor's first or last name, and then click Search.

1901 Census Data.  For a generalized surname search you need only fill in 2 fields, the surname and gender and you will get an overview of everyone in Britain of that sex, for that surname, at that time, listing all the usual details: current location, birthplace, age, sex, and occupation - all free!  The rest of the household is also available for a fee.

Find A Grave  Claims to have 28 million grave records.  Also links to the US Social Security Death Index

BMD  Free search for births, marriages and deaths in England and Wales.  Transcribed Index information from the GRO.

GRO Order Certificates Online  Order BMD certificates for Wales and England online from the General Register Office.

Burbage-Wiltshire.Co.UK  This is an excellent free site for the genealogist researching Burbage, Wiltshire.  A source of extensive detailed genealogical data – births, marriages, deaths, christenings, census and more.  The folks who have assembled this have done an outstanding job.

Belton and District Historical Society  Local history and genealogical bits and pieces for the area of Belton (including Burgh Castle and Bradwell) Norfolk (formerly Suffolk), England.
