Goals for 2004/2005
My genealogy year starts in June because that is when I began research just over a year ago. These are some of my genealogy goals for the upcoming year:
- Obtain full membership in the Fielding-Lewis Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution
- Complete work on a family heritage scrapbook
- Transfer/transcribe all the information I currently have on hand and insert it into my Legacy database
- Start planning a Rich family reunion
- Make contact by phone, mail, or e-mail with one of my husband's Irish family members
- Visit the Georgia Archives again
- Visit Bainbridge to do research and see relatives
- Visit Wilkes County and finish taking grave marker photos of all known ancestors from that area
- Figure out how to upload the video tape recording I made of my mom and aunt telling childhood stories
- Inform all relatives of this website
- Make needed updates and corrections to this website as information flows in
- Determine the most helpful filing system for paper files and get organized
- Provide source information on every fact now in my database
- Print out all pictures (not already printed) to place in my paper files
- Meet at least one new relative in person
- Break through at least one brick wall
