This is a listing of the first half of the tombstone inscriptions in the Saint Jospeh's Cemetery in Pittston, PA. This information is presented through the efforts of Mike Lizonitz, who videotaped the cemetery and posted the information to the web. This first part of the videotape was transcribed by one of the members of the Luzerne Pa Connections Group on Yahoo.com. I want to give them credit but I can't remember who it was and I have lost their email address and contact info. The numbers in front of the names indicate the order in which I videotaped this cemetery. If you park in the little dirt parking area at the back of the cemetery and walk up into the cemetery, I started in the bottom left corner of the cemetery and walked to the right and then continued up to the top of the cemetery and ended up by the big Cross and Dedication Stone on the top of the hill. I do not know how to post databases to the web so we put this info into a word document and worked from that so it is not as easy to use as a database would be but I just wanted to make it available to people who are searching for their relatives.
