THE NELLIS FAMILY FAMILY ASSOCIATION

     The Nellis history has been appreciated by Nellis descendants living in the Mohawk Valley as well as those descendants and historians from outside that area.  There are accounts of an annual Nellis Family Reunion in this area from as early as 1923, showing both the continued interest and the perseverance of descendants from far and near in pursuing historical accounts of these families.  Some Historians have spent years seeking out hard to find facts of the Nellis History and placing them appropriately in the proper line and generation of the Nellis family tree.

     Officers of the Nellis Family Association are elected annually (usually at the Reunion) to manage the information, funds, newsletters, and other aspects of the Nellis Family activities and plans.  Funds are maintained by a Treasurer, and there
