Picnic Night at the Reunion

Hello Cousins--- our family reunion is just around the corner, so heres the final newsletter before the reunion!
WHEN:   Friday 2:00 p.m. July 14 thru Sunday 2:00 p.m. July 16, 2000
WHERE: Granite Basin Group Camp Site (see map)
 
WHAT'S AVAILABLE:   NO WATER, bring your own
        Animals on a 6 foot leash
        No camp fires
        Lake 1/2 mile from camp site (electric & oar boats only)
        Wilderness hiking (the mountain) just 3/4 mile away
        Prescott----- 10 minutes away
THE ACTIVITIES
         All time is free time except planned activities as follows:
               1:30 p.m.--3:00 p.m.---- SUMMER PLAY TIME---(parents, grandparents, and KIDS!)
                                                               fun and games, come win a prize!
              3:00 p.m.--4:00 P.M.------MELLO MOMENTS   (CHILDREN AND TEENS)--snacks, board
                                                         games (bring your favorite), pen pal selections, art and chit chat.
                                                         BUSINESS MEETING (ADULTS)-----30 MINUTES to select new
                                                         New officers  and 30 MINUTES------divide the family history re-
                                                          Search.
               4:00 p.m.--5: 00 p.m..-----RAFFLE
               5:30 p.m.---------------SUPPER, SUPPER, SUPPER
                                                   
Please bring  a bag of chips, your favorite salad, and your own pop.  The
                                                  Hamburgers, hot dogs, condiments, buns, paper products, and reunion Birthday
                                                  Cake and water will be provided from the fund.
              7:00 p.m.  ------THE GATHERING  in the common campsite.  Come meet  long absent cousins,
                                         hear a new Neilson/Eagar tall tale, listen to the "Utah Singers" and stay for the
                                         OLD FASHIONED HOE-DOWN (that's a dance for those of you who don't know what
               a hoe-down is).
Get your hotel reservations now or drag out the gear and get it repaired.  CONCERNED for the rain or lack of it?  Don't be, we ask you all to pray for  rain between now and then-----seriously and come no matter what.  We are working on an alternate  plan for the
Saturday afternoon and evening festivities.
