The funeral for W. Danues Wood of Selma was held at 3:30 Sunday afternoon in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home. The Rev. Joseph Brady officiated. Burial followed in Oakland Heights Cemetery in Smithfield.
Mr. Wood, a 72 year-old retired, died in Duke Hospital in Durham Thursday following an illness.
A number of nieces and nephews survive.
