OCTOBER 7, 1946 - DEC. 26, 1998
ROCKY MOUNT -- Robert G. Dale, 52, formally of Myrtle Beach, S.C., died Saturday, December 26, 1998 at Nash General Hospital in Rocky Mount.
Robert served 26 years in the U.S. Air Force and two of these years he flew with the exclusive U.S. Air Force Thunderbird Team.
Robert is preceded in death by his loving mother, Mayde Reynolds Dale.
Surviving: father, Harold Lee Dale, Sr. of Garner; daughter, Lee Dale LaBlanc and son-in-law, Artie LaBlanc; one grandson, Justin LaBlanc and one granddaughter, Hannah LaBlanc, all of Rocky Mount; son, Robert "Bobby" Grover Dale, Jr. of Clinton; sister, Janet Dale Hickman of Garner; brothers, Harold "Hal" Lee Dale, Jr., of Germany and H. Sebron "Buddy" Dale of Clemmons.
Bowling Funeral Home of Rocky Mount is handling Cremation.
Robert's wishes of no service and having his "ashes" scattered over the ocean he loved, will be observed.
