• William Wood and Elizabeth - Lived and farmed in the northern area of Sampson County, North Carolina during the 1700s.

• William Wood's Descendants.

• Whitfield Wood and Elizabeth Tart - Lived and farmed in the southern area of Johnston County, North Carolina during the 1800s.  Whitfield was the son of Jonathan Wood and grandson of William Wood.

• William Henry Wood - Son of Thomas Wood and grandson of Whitfield Wood.

• Joe Edwards Kills Henry Wood - William Henry Wood was killed over a quarrel about a dog.
