The Massengill Cemetery is located in a field off Hayes Road (NC SR1145), near the intersection of Hayes Road and Oak Forest Road in Ingram Township, Johnston County, North Carolina.  It is also near Blackmon Crossroads and Eldridge's Family Store.

Based on records from Herman Massengill's bible and Johnston County death certificates, it is believed that Penelope Massengill Wood, William Henry Wood, and Julia Bethany Lee Wood are buried in unmarked graves in this cemetery.
