In camp all day fighting in front under arms most of ths day

Thursday 22
In camp most of the day went out forigen gon 4 hours, returned to camp Wether cold and rainy 6 miles

Friday 23
In camp all day Received a letter from my Wife No 1 and forward from the Adjutant Genral cold and rainy

Saturday 24
In camp all day Wrote to My Wife No of leter 9

Sunday 25
Inspection at 10 o clock In camp all Day

Monday 26
Struck our tents at 3 o clock in the morning and took up line of march for Tuscumbia alabama dove the enemy before us they made 4 stands to day marched 11 miles

Tuesday 27
advanced on the enemy at 8 o clock, had a hevy Scrimish with them dove them beyond tuscumbia arriving their at 1 1/2 o clock and campt for the knight marched 6 miles

Wednesday 28
Left Tuscumbia at 7 and returned to camp Chrikee Station 16 miles Received two leters from My Wife No 2 and No 5

Thursday 29
Went out Forigen 7 miles from camp run on the enemy and reteted and Returned to camp 14 miles Boots wore out, Bought of Conover

Friday 30
Left camp at 5 1/2 o clock marched for Eastport on the tenesee River Raind hard all day marched 5 miles campt .

Saturday 31
Marched at 7 o clock arriving Cherikee St Landing at 
9 o clock 11 miles

Left camp 7 o clock marched to he Tenesee Rivr, crost at 6 o clock in Stemer

Left Tenesee Rivr at o clock near East port Alaban marched to Gravel Springs 11 miles arrived at 3 o clo
