WILLIAM ELLIOT ALEXANDER (Jesse1) was born February 11, 1861 in Greensburg, Decatur Co., Indiana.  He married ELIZA ANN JOHNSON  May 02, 1880 in Jennings County, Indiana, daughter of NELSON JOHNSON, (II)  and SARAH VAN KIRK. She was born December 02, 1860 in Osgood, Indiana.  Residence: 1866, Greensburg, Indiana.

William Elliot Alexander died February 05, 1905 in North Vernon, Indiana and is buried in North Vernon Cemetery, North Vernon, Indiana.

Eliza Ann Johnson died May 15, 1934 in Franklin, Indiana. She is buried in North Vernon Cemetery, North Vernon, Indiana.

i. CARL ALEXANDER was born April 12, 1881, Delaware Co, Indiana and died November 22, 1951, in North Vernon, Indiana. He married ABBIEGAIL LOVINA JONES, on October 01, 1902, at Greensburg, Decatur, Indiana. CARL ALEXANDER worked for the Railroad for many years. He served as Justice-of the-Peace for North Vernon, Indiana, and as such, "married" quite a lot of folks. He was a member of The Free Masons Lodge #59, North Vernon, Indiana. He was buried November 1951, at Vernon Cemetery, Vernon Twp., Jennings County, Indiana. ABBIEGAIL LOVINA JONES was born September 26, 1880 at Greensburg, Indiana, and died May 12, 1959, North Vernon, Indiana. She was a member of North Vernon Chapter of the Eastern Star. She was buried May 18, 1959, at Vernon Cemetery, Vernon Twp., Jennings County, Indiana. The family appears on the Federal Census of 1920, enumerated on January 06, 1920, Jennings County, Indiana.

ii. EDNA ALEXANDER, married CLAYTON CRAFT.  She has written a letter to my mother describing the difficulties William experienced when he lost his family to the Cholera Epidemic in 1866 in Decatur Indiana.  Aunt Edna died February 26, 1979.

iii. FRED ALEXANDER, married GALE.  FRED and Gale ALEXANDER  lived at Cincinnati, Ohio.
