He married (1) PRISCILLA KELLY 25 Mar 1841 in Randolph Co., Indiana. She was born 1818 in Virginia, and died ca. 1857 in Ripley Co., Indiana. He married (2) SARAH M. WILLIAMS 04 Aug 1860 in Ripley Co., Indiana. She was born ca. 1820 in Ohio, and died Aft. 1881 in Indiana.

It is thought that Sarah was a widow woman with several children when Benjamin married her.  
There is a marriage record for Benjamin C Johnson & Sarah Williams dated 4 Aug 1860 in Ripley Co., Indiana.
