     the Soldiers Home, Marion County, Indiana.  He was the son of  8. Philip (II) Jones and
     9. Sarah Crosley. He married 5. Abigal Appleton February 02, 1848 in Franklin County Indiana.

5. Abigal Appleton, was born 1829 in Indiana and died in 1904 in Indianapolis, Marion County,
     Indiana.

          Morrison, November 1875 at Vinton, Benton County, Iowa.
      ii. Sarah A. Jones, was born May 03, 1851, and died in 1931 at the IOOF Home.  She married William
          Hodges.
     iii. Philander Jones, was born February 27, 1853, and died in 1930 in Vinton, Benson County, Iowa.

          and died May 06, 1921 in Greensburg, Decatur County, Indiana.  He married Laura Alice St. John,
          November 3, 1879 at Greensburg, Decatur County, Indiana.
     v. William L (II) Jones, was born November 27, 1857, and died in 1931at the IOOF Home at
          Greensburg, Decatur County, Indiana.
     vi. Hugh Cissaro Jones, was born in February 1860.  His age was given as "4/12" on the census
          enumerated on 1 June 1860.
    vii. Elza Jones, was born in 1862.
    viii.Thomas E. Jones, was born May 17, 1866.

     and 17. Elizabeth Dowdon. He married 9. Sarah Crosley May 25, 1816.

9. Sarah Crosley, was born January 18, 1797 in Pennsylvania.

       Children of Philip (II) Jones and Sarah Crosley are:

    i. Eliza Jones, was born March 18, 1821, and died in 1833.
   ii. James Dowden Jones, was born April 24, 1823, and died May 18, 1895 in Mt. Auburn, Benton
       County, Iowa. 
       He  married first:
 (1) Mary Gibson, November 02, 1843 in Sand Creek, Decatur County, Indiana.  She was born 
       in 1822 in Ohio; and died in childbirth after October 10, 1850.  She was still living when the
       census was taken, June 1, 1850 Census in Decatur County, Indiana.  

                       He married second:
                 (2) Hester Jones.  She was born about 1856 near Vinton, Benton County, Iowa and died 
                       May 18, 1895 in Mt. Auburn, Benton County, Iowa.

          Decatur County, Indiana.  She married Ralph McGee, in February 1850 in Franklin County,
          Indiana. He was born in 1828 in Indiana, and died June 20, 1909, in Greensburg, Decatur 
          County, Indiana.
   vi. Philip Tenley Jones, was born November 21, 1834, and died June 20, 1905.  He married Mary 
          Jane Cowen June 18, 1852.

    ii.  Hannah Elizabeth St. John, was born about 1830 in New York.  Her age was given as 20 on the  
         1850 Census.  She married John Dearmond, April 27, 1848 in Decatur County, Indiana.  He was
         born about 1830 in Ohio.  His age was given as 20yrs in 1850 Census.

14.   David Moss, was born May 13, 1783 in Vermont and died June 11, 1876 in Decatur County,  
         Indiana.
         He was the son of 28. Daniel (II) Moss and 29. Lydia Smith. He married 15. Hannah Smith.

15.   Hannah Smith, was born in New York.  She died in 1852.  She was the daughter of 30. Benjamin
         Smith.
