1. Nelson¹ Brown was born in New York 1824. Nelson died 1900 in Strawn, Palo Pinto County, TX, at 76 years of age.

He married Harriett Emiline in Marshall County, MS, August 8, 1850. Nelson Brown and Harriett Emiline were married by Wm. Brealy/Justice of the Peace.

Harriett was born in South Carolina 1836. Harriett died in Memphis, TN.

Nelson Brown and Harriett Emiline had the following children:

+ 2 i. Francis Marion² Brown was born August 11, 1851.

+ 3 ii. George Washington Brown was born 1861.

+ 4 iii. Andrew Brown was born 1862.

5 iv. Ben Brown was born 1865. He married an unknown person.

6 v. Adolph (Dolph) Brown was born 1868. He married an unknown person.
