The earliest record of this BRAY is not quite clear, but a Matilda Jane BRAY married to Samuel THORNTON in Sydney around 1900. She's Nathan's great great grandmother who died 100 years old! While her family, which consisted 11 children, migrated from Wales, England in early 1870s, Matilda J was born on the estate that is now the Central Railway Station at Sydney, Australia!
