JACOB ROTH ISENHART born 1814 and ELIZABETH WINTERS ISENHART, born 1814.

Allegany County Maryland marriages show them married on Jan 13, 1836 (both 22 yrs old). In 1820, a different Jacob (Johann Jacob Isenhart, perhaps) is listed as head of a household with two males <10 yrs old, 1 male <16, and he is age is in the range of 26 to 44 yrs. His house has 2 females <10, 1 <16, and wife is 26 to 44 yrs. In 1830 Census Index I used listed only George Ischart in Allegany County. In 1840, again in Allegany, Jacob K. Isenheart (sic) with 4 males and 1 female in the household. In 1850, again in Allegany County, MD, page 91b, lines 26-34: Jacob Isenhart, 36, blacksmith born in MD. Wife Elizabeth, 36, and children: John 14 son, Nathin (the manuscript leaves us guessing on this one!) 12 son, Henry 11 son, Francis 9, Sarah 7, Peter 5, and Mary 3. On line 40, same page, is found Susan Isenhart 69 yrs of age, b c1781. Rootsweb WorldConnect lists the family born to a John George ISENHART who was born 1808 in Allegany County, MD.
