Records of civil war service in Texas:

Captain Martin Casner's Cavalry Company, Blanco County, 31st
Brigade, Texas State Troops, was organized in October of 1863, with a rank
and file of 39 men. On October 29th, 1863, this company was transferred to
the Confederate States of America. Muster-Rolls of the company show that
it was stationed at Round Mountain (Blanco County, Texas) on October 5th,
~ 1863 and New Braunfels (Comal County, Texas) is also given as their station
on the same date.
