3. Notes from Thomas Sutton: From Josephine Dell Grenier's obituary published in the Lyons Mirror 1/7/1932:
The Grenier family moved from Illinois to Clearwater, Antelope County, Nebraska in about 1870. They lived there about five years. While there suffered Indian invasions into their settlement. In 1875 they moved to Lyons, Nebraska. In about 1890 Josephine and husband Oliver moved to Randolph, Nebraska. Then in 1913 Josephine and Oliver moved to Geddes, South Dakota. In 1930 they retired to Sioux City.
