      8. He had many different occupations. In Lubbock, Texas, he worked for American Optical (an optical lens manufacturer), as a cook for Captain's Galley (a seafood restaurant), and as commissary manager for Pizza Express, among other places. He was an ice cream salesman for most of his later years.

      9. We met in 1965 at an LDS Youth Conference in Lubbock at Texas Tech University. He was in the Air Force and was stationed at Dyess Air Force Base in Abilene, Texas at the time.

      10. We were married on April 16, 1966 in the Mormon Temple in Mesa, Maricopa County, Arizona. We were divorced in 1984 in Lubbock, Texas.
