Dear John,

Very nice to hear from you I'm very sorry but I have no information whatsoever on the father of Sarah Jane and John Elisha. Wish I could offer more assistance. My great-great grandfather, Lorenzo Dow Munselle, was Sarah's father-in-law.

I appreciate the info you have sent and will add it into my records.

Sincerely,
Nancy West

P.S. I lived in Sherman for 3 years from 2000 - 2003. It's a great little town

Dear John,

I show that Sarah Jane Estes and Thomas Tillotson Munsell were married 16 Jan 1870 in Mt. Vernon, Jefferson County, Illinois. If you have not been in touch with them before, I would suggest that you contact the Jefferson County Genealogical Society and ask them if they have any info on John Washington Estes. Their address is:

Jefferson County, Illinois Genealogical Society
101 S. Seventh St.
Mt. Vernon, IL 62864-4187

They are not computerized so you will not be able to reach them by e-mail, but they have been a big help to me in the past.

Nancy
