We now cross the Wadawaduck Brook, or Wyassup Brook as the State prefers to name it, which flows into Spaldings Pond. The Adam Maine house, at the foot of the hill of the same name, and which was mentioned in the account of Park B. Main, now comes into view. The house is now occupied by John T. Coon-5 and his family, but formerly it was the home of George C. Brown, better known as Elder Brown. It was no uncommon sight, when passing by, to have seen Elder Brown sitting outside on the long bench with his neighbors, Frank B. Miner (Pete) and Chester Miner (Chet). 5-House is for sale now by owner Samuel Coon, 211 Reutemann Road.
