    Daniel was a brother of Randall, a younger son of Nathan and Hannah. Daniel was born in 1814 and spent his life in Ledyard as a farmer in Lantern Hill section. He married Eliza Jane Maine and they had 7 children.

Daniel married Eliza Jane MAIN, daughter of Samuel MAIN and Martha TIFFT. Eliza was born 18 Dec 1830 in Groton, New London Co., Connecticut. She died 24 Feb 1904.
