Jonathan married Lucy AVERY, daughter of Joseph AVERY and Tabitha GARDINER, on 19 May 1747 in Preston, New London Co., Connecticut. Lucy was born 2 May 1723 in Norwich, New London Co., Connecticut. She died before 5 May 1755 in Preston, New London Co., Connecticut.
