				George married Sarah RANDALL, daughter of Reuben RANDALL and Lydia HANCOCK, on Oct 1854 in Ashaway, Washington Co., Rhode Island. Sarah was born Mar 1838 in Voluntown, Windham Co., Connecticut.

Mr, Brown was educated in the public schools of his native town. He enlisted in the United States service in the Civil War, Sept. 16, 1862, in Co. G, 21st Regt. Conn. Vol. Infantry for three years; paticipated in the battles of Little Washington, Va., Nov. 13, 1862; Fredericksburg, Va., Dec. 13, 1862; Siege of Suffolk, Va., April and May 1862; Drewry's Bluff, Va., May 13016, 1864; Cold Harbor, Va., June 3, 1864; and White House Landing, Va., June 20, 1864. Was the first man to board the blockade-runner 'Banshee' and run up the Union flag when she was captured by the United States transport 'Fulton'. During his service he was sick with typhoid fever, smallpox, and black measles, and was in no other hospital that the camp hospital of his regiment. Was honorably discharged from the service June 16, 1865, at New Haven, Conn. He was a charter member of Bucklin Post No. 20 G. A. R. of E. Providence; has been employed by the Providence Telephone Company about twenty-four years; is foreman of the Telephone linemen; member of the Brotherhood of Electrical Workers of Providence. Residence in 1905, Providence, RI.
				Warren married Mary Maria BLIVEN, daughter of Hon. Bradford BLIVEN and Anna James BARBER, on 26 Dec 1873 in Tolland, Tolland Co., Conn.. Mary was born 20 Oct 1840 in Westerly, Washington Co., Rhode Island. THE BROWN GENEALOGY, Vol. I., Boston, The Everett Press Company 1907, by Cyrus Henry Brown, page 154.     Mrs. Brown, by her first marriage to Amherst A. Bliven had three children. She was educated in the public schools of Westerly, where she spent most of her early life. She was a charter member of the Bucklin W. R. C. of E. Providence, holding the offices of treasurer, vice-priesidenc and president; president of the Department of Rhode Island Women's Relief Corps; has held the position of a member of the National Executive Board, also National Chaplain, and is a member of Charity Lodge No. 3, Daughters of Rebecca, Providence; holds the position of Patriotic Instructor in the public schools.
