    Eleazer served in the War of 1812.
    The first of the family to move to Ohio, presuaded by Joseph Cole, his father-in-law, whom he lived with until he married Margaret, Joseph's eldest daughter. He built a brick house in 1824, using clay taken from Joseph's farm. Both Marlborough Church members and buried in that cemetery.
    The Mains lived on Horseshoe Road in Delaware County.

    The new location of the Marlboro Cemetery is about five miles north of Delaware on Horseshoe Road (220) and Leonardsburgh Road (221) on the east side of the road.

    Lived in Love's Mill, Virginia then Delaware, Ohio, and then between 1835 and 1836 sold all their property and moved just north of Marion Co., Ohio. Here their oldest son Moses married Sarah Ellen VanMeter. Between 1850 and 1855 they, and Moses and Sarah and the younger children moved to McDonough Co., Ill. along with John's brother Lambert and wife Allie. Lambert died in 1855 and John Wilson died 27 Oct 1858. The two sisters-in-law were left to raise their families alone. Both buried in Barker's Cemetery, Fulton Co., Ill. Hannah married John WILSON, son of James WILSON and Mary EATON, on 23 Sep 1817. John was born 1 Jan 1793 in Love's Mill, Washington Co., Virginia. He died 27 Oct 1856 in McDonough Co., Illinois and was buried in Baker's Cemetery, Fulton Co., Illinois.

THE HISTORY OF DELAWARE COUNTY: Lyman and his brother Thomas cames to Ohio about 1815 with their mother and sisters. Lyman's marriage to Hannah to place in the cabin of his mother and was performed by his brother Timothy who was a Justice of the Peace. After his marriage, he left his old home and out his way through the woods to the farm he where he lived in 1880. He built himself a cabin. He deserted it in 1835 and moved into a frame house that was once used as a schoolhouse. This home accidentally burned to the ground. He as a great hunter. In 1832 he put up a sawmill on the Horseshoe Creek, built a dam and ran the mill for a number of years. The mill and dam are gone and the creek flows into the Olentangy.

Lyman married Hannah MARTIN, daughter of Rev. Benjamin MARTIN and Margaret WRIGHT, on 18 Sep 1823 in Delaware Co., Ohio. Hannah was born 14 Oct 1804 in of Delaware Co., Ohio. She died 23 Apr 1885 in Delaware Co., Ohio and was buried in Marlborough Cemetery, Delaware Co., Ohio.
