   He was the first of the Yorks to settle in Brookfield, NY. He settled on the top of Beaver Hill, a mile and a half east of Brookfield Village. He is credited with helping to raise the first frame house in the town. Later he lived in the York Schoolhouse district, and here he and his third wife died.

Yeomans married (1) Prudence CHAPMAN on 9 Jun 1791 in Stonington, New London Co., Connecticut. Prudence died 9 May 1792.

Yeomans also married (2) Amy ROGERS on 15 Apr 1794.

Henry married Hannah HEWITT, daughter of Elkanah HEWITT Jr. II and Elizabeth MINER, on Mar 1783 in No. Stonington, New London Co., Connecticut. Hannah was born 2 Jun 1765 in Stonington, New London Co., Connecticut. She died after Aug 1848 in Grand Blanc, Genesse Co., Michigan.
