TAYLOR (Suddenly)-In North Stonington, Conn., June 23, 1939. Robert E. Taylor, husband of Mary (Flaherty) Taylor, aged 73 years.
Funeral from the Avery Funeral Home, 46 Granite Street, Monday, June 26, 1939 at 2 p.m. Relatives and friends invited to attend. Interment at River Bend Cemetery.

North Stonington Man Dies of Heart Attack
Robert E. Taylor, aged 72 years, a North Stonington carpenter, died suddenly of a heart attack Friday afternoon in that village. He was stricken with a mild attack earlier in the week, but had seemed to be recovering when he was fatally seized Friday afternoon.
Born in Stonington on March 17, 1867, he was the son of Charles W. and Louise B. (Gavitt) Taylor. For many years he worked as a carpenter in this section.
Besides his wife, Mary (Flaherty) Taylor, he is survived by three sons, Oscar E., Dewey M. and Charles W. Taylor, all of North Stonington; four daughters, Mrs. Hattie Collins, Mrs. James Whiting, Mrs. Denison Boyle and Miss Ethna Taylor, all of North Stonington; a sister, Mrs. Sarah Vredenburg of Westerly; 18 grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the Avery Funeral Home, 46 Granite Street, tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock, followed by internment at River Bend Cemetery.
