    All five of their children were born in Bryan.  (D) Letha Ridenour (b. Oct. 28, 1900) married C.D. MacVean, Michigan, June 12, 1927. They had two daughters, Marjorie (Mrs. Archie Brewer) and Margaret (Mrs. Jack S. Machin) and five grandchildren.
    Creighton MacVean, Plainwell, Michigan and Mercedes, Texas, married Letha in Mercedes, where she still lives. Creighton had a welding and machine shop near Mercedes. He and a partner perfected and had patented; an icing machine to ice down railroad cars loaded with vegetables. Creighton died in September 1951.

    All five of their children were born in Bryan. (E) Donald Ridenour (b. Dec. 26, 1902) married Annie Lee MaManue, Mercedes, Texas. Their children Donald Lee, Amy Nayon, Barbara Ann (Mrs. Jack S. Partin), Donna Earline (who was married to Loren Stevenson), and Carol Sue (Mrs. V.C. Bennett). There are now many grandchildren.
    Donald, a mechanic, worked on maintenance on highway equipment and later on airplanes in Victoria, Texas. He worked at the Naval Air Base in Corpus Christi where he has lived over thirty years. He married Annie Lee McManus in Mercedes in 1930. Annie died in December 1974.
