    The Rogers, Bolles, Waterhouse, and Whipple families soon becam interrelated by marriage. A successful farmer named William Crouch joined the group when he married a daughter of John Bolles. In spite of the large proportion of Rogers and Bolles lineage in Quakertown, no Quakertown, family carried these names into the nineteenth century.

William married Christian BOLLES, daughter of John BOLLES and Elizabeth WOOD, on 17 Feb 1765. Christian was born 5 Mar 1738 in New London, New London Co., Connecticut. She died 1782 in Guilford, Vermont.

    Chiristiana died in childbirth with her 11th child, the baby died also.
