This page should be considered as being highly speculative, due to insufficient data.
(Spellings of Romain should not be taken as settled.)
Mary Romain is specified in George Nyleve's will as his daughter, and a girl of 5 called Mary Ann Romain appears in the 1841 census with George Nyleve and Matilda Gatrill. She was, presumably, George's grand-daughter.
The IGI on-line (http://www.familysearch.com/) shows a baptism for Mary Ann ROMAN on 28 Jun 1837 at Saint Mary, Lambeth, London, England, daughter of James Roman and Mary. (IGI British Isles batch P006282 (1823-1837).)
http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/ shows a death in 2nd quarter 1874 in St Saviour district of Romaine, Mary Ann, aged 37
These may, or may not, refer to the same person, and that person may, or may not, be George's grand-daughter, but the dates are not too bad a fit.
In the same IGI batch at St Mary are baptismal entries for other children of James and Mary Roman (searching the British Isles batch P006282 for children surnamed Romayne with parents James and Mary - all three children have surnames Roman): Elizabeth on 30 Mar 1823 and Ellen on 5 Jan 1834.
Mary Nyleve was born 31 Jul 1814, so could not have been Elizabeth's mother (assuming no transcription error of 1823 for 1833).
No marriage was found on the IGI on-line for James Roman / Romayne / Romaine and Mary.
No marriage was found on the IGI on-line for Nyleve (apart from George's marriage to Elizabeth Brown).
A marriage for Ellen Romain was found using FreeBMD in Lambeth, 4th quarter 1854. The men on the page were given (020701) as Aristides Verri, James Holme, John Legafsicke, and John Macdonald.
No Verri or Legafsicke were found on the 1881 CDs. A number of Ellen 'Macdonald' married to John were found in 1881; four with Ellen being born in London (in 1834 +/- 3years), all of whom were in London in 1881. The only MacDonald spelling was widowed, but born in St Lukes (aged 50, son born Shadwell, aged 26). The other three were married to O'Donnell (Ellen aged 50, husband not present), John O Donnell (aged 46, born London), and John McDonald (Ellen aged 45, born St Georges East, London; son aged 16, born London).
Except for the extreme variation in surname spelling, Ellen O Donnell would "fit" - the oldest child at home is 24, and born in London.
Confirming evidence would be needed to show any of these is the correct Ellen - probably none are.
In any case, it has not been established that George Nyleve had a grandchild Ellen.
