Wilson Genealogy Document
. JAMES WILSON SR. was born in
Henry County, Virginia 16 Oct 1703. Information from Hazel Henderson
states James was born in Henry County, Virginia. However, Henry County
was not formed until much later. It is therefore possible that he
(without moving) could have been born in Prince George County. James died
before 21 Jul 1777 in Henry County, Virginia, at approximately 73 years
of age.
He married MARTHA in Henry County,
Virginia, about 1730. Although the information supplied by Hazel
Henderson shows his marriage as about 1730 in Henry County, Virginia, Henry
County was formed much later. So it is possible he was married (without
moving) in either Prince George County or Brunswick County, depending on
the actual date of the marriage.
He made a will in Henry County, Virginia,
1 Apr 1777. I, James Wilson, Senr., of County of Henry and Parish
