Bill Stotts and Bonnie Sexton-Stotts. (My Aunt & Uncle). They are standing in front of Edgar Ray Sexton's home. (my Grandfather, they called him Ray). He had a wood work shop attached to the back of his home. Lots of saws, tools and lots of woods. He specialized in custom furniture. Bedroom sets, china closets, secretary units, etc. He was also famous for his high quality cedar chests and his smoke stands. He made all sorts of other wooden items, like wooden candle holders, fruit bowls, salt/pepper shakers, you name it. ( I have 2 smoke stands I use for planters and I have a beautiful cedar chest he made, among some other things). Eventually he built a showcase store right next to his home. You would have to see his work to appreciate the quality he put in his craft. As I said the home was located on Highway 61 about a mile from Aunt Dee Hamilton (My Great Grandmother).
