PRIVATE YOHE'S BODY TO ARRIVE
November 15,1951
Funeral Rites for War Hero Saturday


The body of Pfc. George J. Yohe, who was killed in Korea March 23,1951,will arrive today in San Bernardino. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m.

HONORED IN DRIVE

He was a member of the Eagles Lodge,American Legion post 14, and of the Truck Drivers' Union local 467. He had been a truck driver and once was an employee of the The Sun Co.

Prviate Yohe was honored at a Red Cross blood dronor day last June 1, which was called "George Yohe day". The event which was promoted by the San Bernardino Junior Chamber of Commerece provided blood for wounded fighting men in Korea.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Mark B. Shaw Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Herschel H. Hedgpeth,pastor of St. Paul's Methodist church, officiating.

LEGION RITES

American Legion post 14 will conduct graveside services in which a contingent of Marines from El Toro base will pariticipate. Burial will be in Montecito Memorial Park.
Survivors include Private Yohe's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Yohe,880 Vine Street; three sisters, Mrs. Arlene Arnold,Mrs. Marion McIntosh and Mrs. Delores Walter, and two brothers , Clarence Lee Jr. and Robert M Yohe all of San Bernardino, and his paternal grandmother , Mrs. Josephine Yohe of Grand Terrace.
