WATCH THEFT NETS LONG JAIL STRETCH

The man who walked out on his dinner host after pocketing a watch now faces some 1,080 meals as the guest of the county.
Pleading guilty of the charges of theft and signing a false name to a pawn ticket. Tony M. Cesario, 36 resident of San Bernardino hotel, was sentenced to 180 days in the county jail on each. Police Judge Donald E. Van Luven ordered the terms to run consecutively bringing the total to 360. Cesario admitted the theft of two watches, a fishing reel and several other items with a total value of $230.00 . They were recovered from the pawnshops.
