passed away at his home on May 6, after a valiant battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife Berdie, and her five adult children: David Witthuhn, Big Bear Lake, Ca., Drew Witthuhn, Irvine, Ca., John Witthuhn, Indianapolis, In., Kim Co sta, Lompoc, Ca., and Mary Komlance, Greenwood, In.; and eleven grandchildren. Survivors also include his brothers, Gordon Dorn, Miami Beach, Fl., David Dorn, Fon du Lac, Wi., Lee Dorn, Madison, Wi., and sisters Barbara Berg, Milwaukee, Wi., and Eileen Schnapp, Verona, Wi. A graduate of University of Wisconsin, he was Safety/Risk Manager for the Hemet Unified School District and a resident of Loma Linda for 19 years. Memorial Services and interment to be at Riverside National Cemetery on Sunday, May 16th at 11:00 am where he will receive full Military Honors for his service as a Sgt. in the United States Army. Phil has left an empty place in many hearts, but also, the joy of having known him.
