James went to be with the Our Lord Jesus on December 18, 2005 in his home with his children present, at Sunlit Gardens in Alta Loma. James was a resident of Ontario, California since 1961. He served in the Air Force during WW II, and worked for the City of Ontario Building Department from 1961 - 1985. He was a member of the American Legion, Post 112, he served as president and Chaplin. James was also a member of the Ontario Kiwanis and a member of the First United Methodist Church for over 40 years. He was a well loved man, honest and trustworthy and he loved his family and Our Lord Jesus. He will be greatly missed. James was preceded by his wife Adeline of 56 years. James is survived by three of his siblings, Ray Coulter of Rancho Mirage, CA, Colleen Connors of Saratoga, CA, and Eleanor Stang of Littleton, CA, and his children Patricia Bonasera, San Jose, CA, Michael Coulter of Sandpoint, ID, and Colleen Savage of Rialto, CA. James has 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He will always be in our hearts. The family is having a private gathering at Riverside National Cemetery.
