| Reception to Honor Mrs. J.J.H. Smith, County Club Leader |

Colton Woman's club assisted by the Junior membership will be hostess groups at a reception honoring the San Bernardino county president, Mrs. J.J.H. Smith, Sunday afternoon at the Woman's
clubhouse, Seventh and F. streets.
Invitations to approximately 700 county clubwomen and their husbands, have been issued for the tea which will be held from 2 until 3.
Mrs. Smith is the first Colton member to serve as president of the county federation since 1927. She is a past president of the Colton club, having een elected in 1946, and is also a past president of the Blythe club.
As head of the county organization, Mrs. Smith has a total of 23 clubs with membership of about 3,000 under her jurisdiction.
Mrs. Alfred George president of the Colton club and Mrs. C. Weynard Bailey are general chairmen of arrangements for the reception.
Presiding at the tea table during theh reception wil be the Mmes. D. W. Willets, John H. Waldon, Grant Musick and Frank Dart, from 2 to 3; Mmes. Phinett Reese, W.W. Douglass, Viola Pritchard and Lucian Newcomer 3 to 4; Mmes, C. K. Lamb, C.C. Winborne, and David
