Jimmy Ray Johnson age 67, passed away October 15,2005, after a long courageous battle with Prostate Cancer. He was born in DeQueenArkansas to loving parents Robert and Hazel Johnson but resided in San Bernardino and Highland since he was a young boy.

Jimmy retired after 40 years as a Brick Mason. He attended local school and graduated from Pacific High School in 1957, where he served on the Student Body Council and played on the Varsity Baseball and Football teams. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and loved all sports. And he especially enjoyed coaching Little League and Jr. All- American Football.

Jimmy was a wonderful, loving husband to Fay for 45 years, devoted father of daughter Kelly Egan (Billy), sons Brent Johnson (Shauna) and Greg Johnson (Shelby). He was also a wonderful grandfather to Melanie, Eric, Renee, and Nick and the person who could always make him smile great-granddaughter, Caitlyn Rose.

He is also survived by his sister JoAnn Smith (Chuck), brothers, Bob Johnson (Sonja) and Roger Johnson (Marla), several nieces and nephews and too many friends to count.

Jimmy's strength courage, devotion, kindness and most especially his love will be remembered and cherished forever by his family and friends.

Viewing will be Wednesday, October 19 from 5:00 p.m. -8:00 at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday October 20 at 10 am at Montecito Memorial Park.
