Henry Forker moved to Rialto in 1928. From about 1930 to 1960 Henry ran his own business, Forker Tractor Company, on Foothill Boulevard. It was an outlet for Case tractors. He went to work for the City of Rialto in 1960, managing a crew that performed maintenance work and repairs on all city vehicles. A huge, tall man, Henry Forker said that he weighed 280 pounds when he retired at the age of 65 in 1978. Henry's wife's name was Margaret, and he had a son, Virgil, and a daughter, Marlynda. In 1978, Henry's daughter, Marlynda, was living in Hawaii where she was a hostess at a resort, and his son, Virgil, lived in Encinitas and was an electronics engineer for General Dynamics in San Diego.
