FONTANA-Nov.15-Mrs. Roy (Betty) Goldie was honored at a baby shower at the home of Mrs. George Smith on North Cypress avenue. Mrs. Bill Smith,the hostess, was assisted by Mrs. George Smith and Miss Leona Smith.
Games with an appropiate baby theme, and bucno were played. Prizes were won by Mrs. William Pope, Mrs. Alice McEachern and Mrs. John Goldie. Mrs. Charles Edsal entertained the group by singing "Mightly Lak' a Rose".
After the games the honoree opened may lovely gifts and refreshments were served buffet style from a table centered with a beautifully decorated cake topped with a tiny bassinet.
Sharing the occasion were the Mmes. James,Roy,John,Edward and Jim Goldie,Pope,Edsall,McEaschern,Hobart Menges,George Rankin,Jim Boston,Selma Mateer,Leslie Zadany,Roland Hetchison, and Philip Dennis and the hostesses.
Sending gifts but unalbe to attend were the Mmes. Jesse Hunter,G.O. Dark,Albert Vegh and Malcom Miller.
