Belin A french name with accent at end - sounds like Blinn. SC Hist. Gen Mag Vol 32, p 91. published a letter from another colonist which mentions "Blain" (Belin) whose brother married Lynch's daughter.
Deed Book S - p 171. 16 Aug 1733 - Deed of Gift: Col. Thomas
Lynch of Christ Church Parish conveys 1000 acres to James Belin
and Sarah his wife; then to Allard Belin and James Belin, Jr.,
all of Prince George's Parish, SC. James and Sarah Belin also
had a son William, daughters Mary and Elizabeth, and daughter
who married Gaillard. From Will of James Belin, Sr proved 19
May 1746. Will Book 1740-47, p. 324.

Jesse T Hurst 28 Jul 1837 - 4 Apr 1928, Lindsey (Pine Creek) Cem, Carroll Co Va s/o William and Susannah Wright Hurst
Jesse's name in his obit from the Carroll News was Thomas, but I
have an old story which said it was Thompson. Since he had an
uncle Jesse Thompson Hurst and a nephew Jesse Thompson Hylton,
my bet's on Thompson. He apparently never used either. He was
born in Wythe, probably died in Carroll. I have a shared
tombstone photo for Jesse and Ketturah.

siblings of James B Hurst and children of Jesse T and Keturah
