I wonder if this info below is about the same Thomas Cromwell d. 1649 Boston, MA.


"Capt. Robert Harding of Boston ... merchant" purchased the ship Separation from Capt. Thomas Cromwell in the summer of 1646 [Aspinwall 22]. He bargained with John Milom that the ship Supply "shall go no nearer London than Margaret Rode" [Aspinwall 31].


Robert Harding was disarmed at Boston, 20 November 1637, for his support of Hutchinson and Wheelwright [MBCR 1:212]. As noted above, his wife was also punished for her support of Hutchinson."

Roberson: Josh WHITELY: This is a petition asking the House of Delegates of VA to place a line "fixed along Clinch Mt. and Montgomery line to the Carolina line" to separate them from Washington Co. These inhabitants include those of Clinch River, Mocason Creek, Powels Valley, north branch of Holstein River, and "others." Dated Dec. 9, 1785. Washington Co, VA, is in the far southern section of VA, just before the border into TN and not far from NC.
