NC out of Wales & all had large families. One of the early
Normans had a son James, who was born 13 Jan 1763, who married
Polly Wilson, born 16 Jul 1763. James & Polly went to middle
Tenn near present day Murphreesboro (which is Co. seat of
Rutherford Co.). James was in Lincoln Co., NC in 1791; In 1810
he was in Rutherford Co., Tenn. In 1820 he was in Bedford Co.,
Tenn. A James Norman & others were charged with treason by the
Sheriff of Rutherford Co., N C in 1783.
