Hello, Idonia Browder, 1850 to 1878, married to C. B. McKneely about 1867(?). She is buried in the Miller Cemetery near the Ike DeLee Place near Jackson, East Feliciana Parish, La. along with her husband C. B., Sgt. Co. H, 3rd. La. Cav. CSA, b: Dec. 23, 1841, d: Oct. 28, 1898.

One son, Frank McKneely, 1868-1873. Maybe one daughter, Emily Marie McKneely, w/o G. C. Jackson, b: 1871-1901. I came across this while searching my Miller line in E. Feliciana Parish. Hopes this helps someone.

William "Eskaculiskee" SHOREY Jr.

ABT 1750 - ABT 1809

ID Number: I92841

  • RESIDENCE: Cherokee Nation E. TN
  • BIRTH: ABT 1750
  • DEATH: ABT 1809
  • RESOURCES: See: notes [S3439]
Father: William SHOREY

Family 1 :
  1.  Elizabeth SHOREY

Notes

"William married a girl named Peggy, and they had at least one daughter, Elizabeth. He also had two other daughters, but it is not likely that they were the children of Peggy. In the 1790's William carried out several military and liasion tasks for his brother-in-law, McDonald. He also must have gained some influence among the Cherokees, for he signed the Cherokee treaties of 1805 and 1806, using his Indian name, Eskaculiskee."
