"My grandfather, who was the Chief Deputy for the San Jacinto County Sheriff's Office, died accidentally of a self-inflicted gunshot. He had pulled into the driveway of his residence, and attempted to lift a .22 caliber rifle out of the gun rack of his pickup truck. He pulled on the barrel, which was pointing towards the driver's side and somehow the rifle misfired, killing my grandfather. I was but 1 year of age when this happened, suffice to say, I did not know my grandfather."
