Notes

Marriage: Olive UNKNOWN Abt 1633, , co. Staffordshire, England

When Edward's daughter, Ann died in 1699, her husband, William Brinton, wrote about her life. In it he stated that Edward, her father, had died about fifty years earlier and that her family was "not of mean rank as to wordly account." He called his father-in-law a "very honest and loving man."

Edward received 30 lbs. from Elizabeth Tomlinson's nuncupative will dated July 3, 1629. "Elizabeth was the mistress to Lord Dudley and all of her children were the children of this Lord. Edward was listed as Elizabeth's nephew, "nepoti ex matre" when he was assigned by the courts to be the administrator of her estate. He died before his father in 1645 and is buried at St. Thomas Parish in Dudley, England. (C-1364, UA Record #:4237)"
