Notes

1 Solomon STRICKLAND b: 1742 + Amy PACE b: 1739
Not all trees show Solomon as a child of Jacob Stickland. There appear to have been three Jacob Sticklands in Edgecombe Co., N.C. as shown in the 1750 North Carolina Malitia Records.

Migrated to Elbert County, Georgia, where their names were recorded as first members of Lystra Primitive Baptist Church, citation is Lystra Primitive Baptist Church Minutes, Madison County, Georgia, Jan 15, 1803. Migrated to Wayne County, Mississippi, after receiving land there in the 1805 Land Lottery. Many of his children were married there. It is believed Amy Pace Strickland died there. Solomon Strickland moved back to Madison County, Georgia, and lived with his son, Solomon, Jr., until his death in 1815
