First, it mention his name, his father name, place of residence and the death year. The second line reads that on May 13, 1665, he signed the petition for land in Kings Province, and on May 20, 1671, he took the oath of allegiance. • RESIDENCE: of Albemarle Co. VA
  • BIRTH: 1802
  • RESOURCES: See: [S3316]

Notes

"I can only go back to William Spencer, born 1802 and married Sarah Hicks Jan. 5 1818. I have no documentation earlier than his birth to a John Spencer. I have several clues and possibilities but can not prove them. DNA testing was done on this Williamís line and connects him to other Spencers but we do not know what the relationships are.

Let me know if you have other information. I am related to the Higginbothams, McDaniels, and Wares of Amherst Co as well. I have lots of information about these families.

My lineage :

Carol Brown Stoakley
Wanda Spencer and Robert Brown
John Kilpen Spencer, Jr and Leticia Womeldorf
John Kilpen Spencer, Sr and Sarah Alice McDaniel Ware
William Spencer and Martha J Drumheller
William Spencer and Sarah ( Sally) Hicks"

Thanks, Carol
