      I.  Hans Scheurer was born circa 1660 at Weyer, Bas-Rhin, Alsace, France.

         Johannes Scheurer, tailor, son of Hans Scheurer of Weyer, m 2/6/1703 at Diedendorf
         Veronica Schuck, daughter of Heinrich Schuck from Wolsen, ZH. (?CH 8304 Wallisellen,
         ZH). They had 4 daughters bp at Diedendorf. Johannes Scheurer citizen and tailor at
         Weyer m (2) 9/30/1719 Anna (nee Schneider) widow of Jacob Reichert (Reichardt) former
         inhabitant at Bist, Vinstingen Herrschafft (Bust=67320 Drulingen) They had one child;
         Johann Jacob b 8/31/1722

         Jacob Scheurer and wife Anna Elisabetha nee Schlichter had a son (see also Schlichter)
         Johann Nicolaus b 11/4/1755; bp 1/24/1756 Sp Johann Nicolaus Schlichter and wife Anna
         Barbara. He was born circa 1690 at Weyer, Bas-Rhin, Alsace, France. He married Veronica
         Schuck, daughter of Heinrich Schuck, on 6 February 1702 at Diedendorf Reformed KB,
         Diedendorf, Bas-Rhin, Alsace, France. He married Anna Schneider on 30 September 1719 at
         Bist Vinstingen Herrschafft, Bas-Rhin, Alsace, France.

            1.  Johannes Scheurer married Maria Magdelena Christ, daughter of Jacob Christ and Magdelena
            Schwab. He died at PA. He Eighteenth Century Emigrants the Northern Alsace

            Richard and Elizabeth, 1733 S-H, I: 127, 129, 130 (with Magdalena Sherer, age 22;

            European Records
            Diedendorf Reformed KB:
            Johannes Scheurer, citizen and tailor at Weyer, (=67320 Drulingen) was a baptismal
            sponsor in 1722. He first appears in this KB in 1703 with wife Veronica nee Schuck.
            Hans, b ca 1703, is possibly a son born before the family came to this area. Maria
            Magdalena Christ was Conf 1724.

            Neither bp was located in the Diedendorf KB: they arrived with Jacob Christ (qv) and
            his wife Magdalena nee Schwab, whose marriage is recorded at Diedendorf in 1709.
            Maria Magdalena, b ca 1709/1710, is possibly their daughter.

            Johannes Scheurer and wife Maria Magdalena nee Christ had a daughter: Anna Margaret
            b 2/28/1744, bp Abt 1744 Sp Nicolaus Werner and Anna Maria Haaas

            This child was bp the same day as a child of Marcus Christ (qv), who was a son of
            Jacob Christ and Magdalena, nee Schwab. He was born circa 1703 at Weyer, Bas-Rhin,
            Alsace, France.

               a)  Veronica Scheurer was born in May 1733 at Richmond Twp., Berks Co., PA.

               b)  Anna Margaretha Scheurer Baptised ABT. 1744 Moselem Lutheran Berks Co. Sponsors Nicolaus
               Werner and Anna Maria Haas Sponsors Johannes Scheurer and Maria Magdalena Christ
               Schurer.

               Ana Margretha Scheurer daughter of Johannes S. and wife Maria Magdalena Christ,
               born February 28, 1744. Sponsors: Johannes S. and wife Maria Magdalena Christ.
               She was born either 28 February 1743 or 28 February 1744 at Richmond Twp., Berks
               Co., PA.

            2.  Samuel Scheurer List 19 A) Ship Samuel, Hugh Percy, Commander, from Rotterdam Qualified,
            8/11/1732 Jacob Crist, 22; next name- Samuel Scheer 21: Womens names of 16 years of
            age and upwards. Anna Christin, 49; next name-Veronica Sheer 46; Maria Creasmanin,
            20; Margaretha Kresmenin, 30. He was born circa 1711 at Weyer, Bas-Rhin, Alsace,
            France.

            3.  Johann Jacob Scheurer married Anna Elisabetha Schlichter. He was born on 31 August 1722.

               a)  Johann Nicolaus Scheurer Baptised 24 JAN 1756 Christ Lutheran (Mertz's, Bieber Creek, Berks
               co)  Sponsors Johann Nicolaus Schlichter and wife Anna Barbara. He was born on 4
               November 1755.
